Who we are

When we started Mod & Muse, the hope was to give our neighbors of all ages the opportunity to share experiences with music and the arts right in their backyard. We began with our Polar Express Pajama Experience where families joined us with blankets and cocoa in front of the big screen. We expanded to hosting family-friendly programming at Awesome Con, Washington DC's Comic Con.

Now you can imagine that the events of the last few years have given us reason to reconsider. A pandemic can do that. We've had to adjust our crowns a few times while we challenged and found ourselves. Now we are proud to say we have finally landed on our crystal-encrusted heels at Dulles Town Center in Sterling, Virginia!

You see, it's true we love a good party, but we love dressing up even more! Why not do it everyday?? Thus Mod & Muse Boutique has arrived: a make believe makeover boutique & costume shop. Our team now includes makeup artists, hair stylists, and education professionals. Plus the same family focus we have always had is our top priority. In fact, our team includes four generations of women entrepreneurs.
